In 2008, Martijn Wolff asked me to join his team of designers in a pitch for the new design for Jetix NL. The children’s channel, previously known as Fox Kids, needed a complete redesign. I was responsible for breathing life into their bouncy little mascotte, Jay. 

 

We won the pitch! And in the years after that, all jumps, bounces and hard but painless falls Jay made, came from the Guckindiewelt pipeline. Unfortunately in 2009, Jetix was replaced by Disney XD, using the design from the US.
